We aim to hold stock of all products (unless otherwise stated) so we can get your order to you, often within 2-5 working days. All orders within the UK are now sent by carrier. The only exception to this may be for orders north of Glasgow or to offshore islands/international orders which will encure a higher delivery charge. Orders from these regions will be sent by parcel post or royal mail recorded/special delivery dependant on weight and volumetric size. Heavy/Special Order items
The delivery price for our larger items varies from £15-£40. Due to the nature of some of the products we sell it would be expected that the delivery time on these orders would be around 7-10 days however, please check with our mail order department before ordering, as there may be a shorter or longer lead time dependant on the product
Plants and Snails:- Standard Delivery £5.50
We aim to dispatch all orders containing plants and snails severn to ten working days after the order is placed usually starting on the following Tuesday after the order is placed. However due to the amount of orders we receive they may be dispatched on the Wednesday or Thursday according to stock levals. For items to be dispatched on this date please ensure your order reaches us by 11am Friday, otherwise the order may be held back until the following week. Plants and snails are only dispatched when weather conditions are appropriate, this is usually between April and September, however you will be notifi ed at the time of ordering if there are any restrictions on your delivery. Please note an express service on orders containing plants or snails is not available. Terms & Conditions
We. Delivery by carrier will usually arrive between 9am and 5pm, and will require a signature. If you don't expect to be at home please provide an alternative address, for example work, relative or neighbour. Alternatively, if you are not in, the driver will leave a crad with instructions for arranging a future delivery, or you can request items to be left in a safe place without a signature, please note this will be done at your own risk.
Our current carrier, Business Post, have provided a level of service far and above that provided by other companies we have used in the past. However whilst 99% of deliveries arrive promptly, unforessen delays can occur. If a next day delivery hasn't arrived by 5pm please contact us as soon as possible so that we can look into the matter straight away.
As we cannot accept liability for late deliveries, beyond refunding your carriage charge, we recommend giving yourself a few days 'breathing space' if you require goods for a specific day.
If a parcel arrives in a damaged state please don't accept the delivery, bt contact us straight away so that we can dispatch a new order.
If damages or discrepancies are found only on unpacking, please contact us by telephone within 24 hours of reciept of goods.
If you find any items unsuitable, this can be returned, unused with 30 days. Please contact us to arrange a return for an exchange or refund (excluding carriage charges).
Some manufactures offer extended warrantees/guarantees which usually only apply with a warranty registration. Any registration requests not returned to the manufacturer may result in the manufacturerlimiting their warranty to a standard 12 months.
We aim to hold our catalogue prices at least until the 31st December 2009. We do, however, reserve the right to alter prices if this cannot be avoided. We will always advise you of any changes before processing your order. All prices include VAT.
Buying mail order plants can often be a little different from buying plants in person. Many aquatic plants lose or damage leaves in transit, or soon after planting. Because of this some leaves may be removed when certain plants are packed so that they transport better. You may therefore, with certain aquatic plants be essentially buying a root stock. Due to the fact that most of the plants are dispatched bare-rooted, the plant prices quoted in this price list may be differnt than when collecting from our garden centre.
We guarantee plants to arrive in good condition. If you are unhappy with the condition of your plants on unpacking, please contact us within 48 hours so that we can take appropriate action. We cannot offer a warantee beyond this as we have no control over the growing conditions once plants have been re-planted. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Our repuation is built on the highest standards of customer service, and as such you can be confident tthat any information that you pass onto us is kept secure and used soley within Stapeley Water GArdens Ltd, and is not passed on to third parties.
