How do I feed aquatic plants?

In most situations, aquatic plants will benefit from at least one seasonal feed. Submerged aquatics and floating plants attain most, or all of their nutrients from the water. Marginals and water lilies will, however also draw nutrients from the planting compost. The easiest way to feed plants without encouraging algae is to use an aquatic, slow release tablet feed.
