Marketing Assistant, Stapeley Water Gardens
NANTWICH, CHESHIRE.
Salary: £11,500
Duration: 1 year Placement
Start Date: 4th August 2008
Hours: Full time, average of 40 hours per week flexi-time, to include bank holidays and occasional weekends.
This is a great role for a Marketing/ Business student, providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in all aspects of marketing within one of the areas main visitor attractions.
Purpose of Role
To assist the Marketing Coordinator in all aspects of the marketing communications mix for Stapeley Water Gardens.
Responsibilities
Working alongside the Marketing Coordinator the role will be ‘hands on’ and cover a wide range of responsibilities including:
• Maintaining, updating and monitoring the website and online shop on a daily basis
• Organising events
• Writing Press releases and maintaining regular contact with the press.
• Assisting with organising artwork and marketing material.
• Attending off site tourism meetings and shows
• Creating and organising displays
• Creating and designing posters and signage
• Data analysis
• Administration duties
• Responding to customer enquiries
Knowledge and skills
• Must be studying for a Business or Marketing degree, 2.1 or 1st expected
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisation skills
• Strong IT skills, including Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Full Driving Licence essential
