Exploration and discovery is key, regardless of your curriculum priorities! As one of the regions most popular destinations for school trips, the centre was selected by The Staffordshire Partnership, whose advisory teachers helped to create fantastic resource material for Key Stages 1 & 2.
When should we visit?
Any time of year! Forget weather worries, everything's undercover!
Where can we eat?
We have undercover facilities for packed lunches must be booked in advance, and picnics (school groups only ) can be taken outside in the Italian Garden if weather permits ).
How long should we stay?
As long as you can! Well structured visits can last all day and we are open daily from 10am
Is all that water safe?
Visits work best when the children explore in small supervised groups - just choose and instruct your supervisors carefully.
How much will it cost?
£3 per child, 1:5 free supervisors
£3.95 per additional adult.
£1.00 Optional Meet the Keeper Sessions (Normally 1/2 hour)
