(Water Hyacinth). The showiest of all floating pond plants which in very good summers can produce large, hyacinth like violet blue flowers. Very good at controlling algae by shading the surface and sucking up nutrients direct from the water. Not frost hardy so don't order until mid/late May, Treat as an annual. If you order before the frosts have finished, be prepared to take them in overnight when frosts are forcasted.
