Sets 3 and 4 utilize the new Biotec Screenex filters: the screenex itself is a specially designed metal sieve which prevents debris larger than 0.1mm getting through to the biological media. The screen self-cleans, for a period, as debris is washed down the screen into a collection drain. Other features include: in-filter cleaning with a waste water drainage outlet, an electronic cleaning indicator and a special mat which enriches pond water with oxygen.
