This pond protector kit has been developed to protect the pond from the unwanted attention of herons & cats by emitting harmless low voltage electrical pulses (unpleasant to a heron or cat when touched but will not harm them).The kit contains 10 upright stakes, 80m of deterrent cable, weatherproof transformer, 5m of cable to the transformer & an earthing rod. The stakes are 60cm long but stick out of the ground by upto 45cm approx (adjusted by pushing deeper into the ground).
